Terms and conditions
Conditions of travel with the airport line: ticket validity, baggage allowance and how to cancel the trip.
Service description
Airport Line offers regular bus transportation between Tirana International Airport and Tirana Center, as well as between the Airport and the South-North Bus Terminal.
Departures are made every hour, on the hour: for the Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; for the South-North Terminal 07:00–18:00.
If the bus fills up before the departure time, it leaves immediately and a second bus leaves at the scheduled time.
The service does not require advance booking and is open to all passengers.
Tickets and usage
Tickets are purchased inside the bus while boarding, or online at luna.al.
On the bus you pay only the ticket price. Online purchases add the online payment fee, charged once per order, shown before payment and not refunded on cancellation.
The ticket is valid for one use within 24 hours from the selected time and not tied to a specific departure.
The ticket purchased online is canceled by the ticket site itself until 1 day before travel and the ticket price is 100% refunded instantly. Closer to departure, the cancellation is made by request, which is reviewed by the office and can be accepted or rejected. After scanning the ticket, there is no cancellation.
Children occupying a seat pay full fare.
The ticket is personal and non-transferable.
People with disabilities get a 50% discount, with the presentation of the disability booklet.
Baggage and additional cargo
Each passenger can take 2 large pieces of luggage and 2 small bags.
Bicycles are charged 5 euros extra and require advance notice.
The operator is not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of luggage during the trip. Passengers are responsible for the supervision of their belongings.
Travelling with pets
Pets are allowed on the bus only inside a pet carrier or transport crate.
Small pets may travel with their owner. If the carrier takes up a seat, the full fare applies.
Pets placed in the luggage hold, inside their carrier, travel free of charge.
Conduct and safety
Passengers must follow staff instructions at all times.
Smoking, alcohol consumption and inappropriate behavior are prohibited.
Eating and drinking are prohibited during the trip.
Violation of these rules May result in exclusion from the trip, without refund.
Timetable, delays and route
The operator aims to respect the schedules, but is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather or external factors.
The route May be changed temporarily to avoid traffic or to follow a more efficient route. Official announcements are published on Luna Travel's social pages.
The operator is not responsible for missed flights caused by traffic delays, weather or other unforeseeable factors. We recommend allowing enough spare time.
Stops along the route
The Airport Line operates with a direct route, without official intermediate stations. The driver is not obliged to make other stops along the way.
In special cases, when traffic conditions, safety and road infrastructure allow, a stop outside the official stations can be made, only if the request is made in advance, before departure. The decision is made by the staff and the stop is not guaranteed in every case.
